Cincinnati Bengals players welcome baby girls on the same day, at the same hospital

Teammates on the Cincinnati Bengals have both welcomed their first children, with their wives giving birth not only on the same day, but in the same hospital!

Kicker Evan McPherson and linebacker Logan Wilson coincidentally got married to their wives on the same day in 2022, on July 9th. The two did not appear to have known each other at the time. Last September, they also both announced they were expecting babies. And their wives both ended up giving birth at the same time, on March 15th.

The Bengals celebrated the arrival of the new babies on Twitter/X, sharing the photo of the four together and writing, “It’s a family affair.”

In a cute Instagram post, the NFL shared a photo of the two couples posing together with their babies, captioned, “can finally share the birthday twins.”

Previously, Wilson had posted a sweet video announcing the pregnancy with a touching caption. “Half of me and half of you,” he wrote. “We are so blessed that God chose us to be your parents little one. You are already so loved, so prayed over and so cherished.” His wife, Morgan, shared a photo of the baby, Kambry, holding her finger, with the caption, “Happy due date angel girl … we’re so happy you came early.”

McPherson shared the arrival of his daughter, Merritt, on Instagram, writing, “Baby girl and her mom rocked it in the hospital and we are so happy to be home! Her brothers are already obsessed with her!! We all love you so much Merritt Hayes!” Previously, his wife Gracie shared her excitement over having a little girl. “We are overjoyed with love that the Lord chose us to be her parents!” she wrote. “Baby girl is so loved, prayed over & the biggest miracle. All the Glory to God!”
